Travel to Glasgow

I'm feeling happy. Just managed to book rail tickets for myself and [livejournal.com profile] exalted_mugwump to Glasgow from Poole and back again (for Concussion) for a total of £79 which sounds pretty good to me. And we've got a forward-facing table seat for most of the journey as well.

I'm toying with going to Picocon. I really want to go, but can I justify three trips into London in less than a month?

Any tips for me to book train to Glasgow? I am not even sure what website to go to - or phone number to ring.

Obviously I will be going from London - which you wont be....

Ring 0845 748 4950 - the staff there are actually very helpful.

I think you've already justifed the trip with "I really want to go"
It's hardly your fault that it happens to be held in a month that you've already made trips to London....

I'd agree with that, apart from this pesky thing called "budget" which is probably what [livejournal.com profile] watervole is concerned about...

£79 sure beats £200, to which I have to add a return train ticket Edinburgh-Glasgow...
