Anniversaries
The panic attacks are back again today. It's my wedding anniversary, which rather brings home the current situation. I've had 24 years of marriage and they've mostly been good ones. I can look into Richard's face and see him smile, and I have every reason to believe that I'll be able to do that for most of the rest of my life.
Rosalie will be lucky if she sees 24 days, she will certainly never see her first wedding anniversary.
Another piece of bad news. Richard's mum (Molly with the broken arm) is having to have her dog put down. He's a lovely dog and friendly as can be to people, but he's so aggressive towards other dogs that she knows that something serious will happen before long. It's a hard decision for her, but she knows she isn't strong enough to control him if he tries to attack and even having him neutered hasn't solved the problem. Once her arm has recovered, she'll get another dog, but I think she's going to be very lonely until then.
